Hed Kandi Deeper

While this series, Deeper, has been discontinued and eventually morphed into 'Twisted Disco', it deserves mention because the two box sets were instrumental in launching Hed Kandi from a small audience to a larger audience, are still available, and they are my two favorite box sets.

Like Dean, Morrison, and Cobain, the Deeper series left while in it's prime so it never became a mere shadow of itself nor open to self mockery, cough cough William Shatner cough cough.

Hed Kandi Deeper was the foray into promoting the darker side of House music. This series highlighted the non-commercial monster tunes of Progressive and Techno that clubbers loved to dance to but struggled to find a copy for their own music library. Both box sets contain two CD's that are filled with House music in all it's 12-inch glory and the artwork marked the rise in Brook's style from cute to sexy.
